No, I didn't. I only knew the John Cougar's song titled "Jack & Diane". I think it's from the 80's. Here's the lyrics.

Once I read a Nancy Meyer's interview about the movie...she said she chose Jack&Diane for the first poster of the movie because they were a guarantee for promoting the movie....even if Jack wanted that the first poster would show his ass as he showed it several times in the film...
